How to play

WHITE OR BLUE TEES: You can choose your level of difficulty by choosing tees. White tees are for beginners to intermediate players, blue tees are for the pros.

TO BEGIN: You can see where the basket is located on the hole by touching the map icon on the left of the screen. You will see that you are automatically aimed at the basket regardless of any obstacles. To get back down to aiming and throwing mode, touch the down arrow.

TO AIM: To avoid trees and other obstacles in your path you may need to adjust your aim. To do this, simply place your finger on the screen and move it to move your crosshairs to where you want them. TIP - it is easier to see your crosshairs when you place your finger to the side of the screen.

TO THROW THE DISC: Place your finger on the disc at the bottom of the screen. An arrow guide for your throw will come up. Sweep your finger along the screen to throw the disc. The speed and angle of your flick determine your throw distance and curve.

TO CHANGE DISCS: Below your disc, where it says "driver," you can sweep your finger to select your mid-range or putter. Use your mid-range for medium-length shots (about 75ft. and under); use your putter inside 20 feet. Don't forget to check the wind speed, as it affects your mid-range and putter a lot more.

AIMING AT THE BASKET: When you are close to the basket, you will want to hit the chains to get the disc in. You will need to adjust for wind and whether the basket is above or below you.

Tips and Tricks:

CURVE SHOTS: If you are behind a tree or other object, you might want to try a curve shot. To do this, aim to the side of the object that is clear, and when you throw, curve your swipe back the other way. Your mid-range and putter will have a greater curve than your driver.

SOMETIMES YOU CAN GO OVER: If you are far enough away, you may be able to throw over a tree.

THE FENCE: The fence marks out-of-bounds, so you can throw around it, but not over it. In the unlikely event that you do manage to throw over the fence, you will need to keep throwing to get back in bounds. This may take a few throws.

TWO-PLAYER MODE: When you play two-player mode, you simply take turns. It is not based on who is "away."
